GLAND PANELS

PTI developed water cooled copper Gland Panels, which allow either standard or special PTI burners to be installed in any place on the EAF side wall. Once the Gland Panel is installed, the burner's flame can be positioned within +/- 15 degrees arc at different angles. This helps to direct the burner precisely at the spot needed for its efficient operation within the EAF.
