Material Burner - QuadJet™

The QuadJet™ is a multi functional burner injecting supersonic oxygen and granular or powdered material required for the EAF operations. This unique device combines all the functions needed for preheating the scrap, foaming the slag, and decarburizing the steel in one unit using the minimum space inside the furnace shell. Having the capacity of the standard PTI burner the QuadJet™ has a supersonic oxygen injection mode designed for up to 2,900 Nm³/hr (1,800 scfm) and material injection flow for up to 300 kg/min (660 lb/min). The QuadJet™ uses the standard PTI combustion chamber and fits into the standard JetBOx™
